Refund Policy
Overview
The Kylee Lillich Charitable Giving Tree Foundation is grateful for the generosity of our donors and the support of our event attendees. We understand that circumstances change, and this policy outlines how we handle refund requests for donations and event ticket purchases.
Donations
General Policy
All donations to The Kylee Lillich Charitable Giving Tree Foundation are voluntary and generally non-refundable. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, contributions are made in support of our mission and are not exchanged for goods or services.
Requesting a Refund
We recognize that errors can occur. If you believe a donation was made by mistake — for example, a duplicate charge, an incorrect amount, or an unauthorized transaction — we will review your request on a case-by-case basis.
To request a donation refund, email us at kyleelillichgivingtree@gmail.com with your name, donation amount, date of transaction, and a brief explanation within 30 days of the transaction date.
Approved refunds will be returned to the original payment method. Please allow 5–10 business days for the refund to appear, depending on your bank or card issuer.
Tax Implications
If a donation refund is issued, any tax deduction previously claimed for that donation would no longer apply. We recommend consulting a tax advisor if this is a concern.
Event Tickets and Registrations
General Policy
We offer full refunds for event ticket purchases for refund requests submitted more than 30 days before the event. Beyond that date, there are no refunds for event ticket purchases.
Ticket Transfers
If you are unable to attend an event, you may transfer your ticket to another person at no charge. Please contact us at least 48 hours before the event to arrange a transfer.
Event Cancellation or Postponement
If the Kylee Lillich Charitable Giving Tree Foundation cancels an event, registered attendees will receive a full refund automatically. If an event is postponed, you will have the option to transfer your registration to the new date or request a full refund within 14 days of the postponement announcement.
How to Request an Event Refund
To request a refund for an event ticket:
